The local multi millionaire Sweeney family bought the V.I.C.C., from the I.M. Club at V.I.C.C. The visionary developer, Mr. Bill, M. Bass bought it in 1964. The big developer used to land his private helicopter at the club house facilities. In 1965 he demolished the old club house from the early twenties and built all actual facilities. In 1977 Mr. Patrick Stanford, a developer and director of the prestigious Jockey Club of Miami took ownership, Industrialist Mr. Ken Plasterere became the owner an president in 1995 until December 2005.
